Editors Lounge

Coordinating initial process design and policies for the interactive CI book

This group will be much more about content. Editorial - which old content needs to be removed, coordinating the launch of the site, setting minimal conditions for site launch, etc.

One of the key features this will be used for in the near term is specifically listing content and modules to be marked for deletion.

Mark Tovey will focus on content

George Pór will focus on modules

This is the opener for an ongoing conversation for co-presencing the future of CI Convergence

I see it as a platform for hosting:

What would it be like if we hosted the book, using the same simple principles used to host World Café conversations? Those principles are:

(1) clarify the context

That could be done by an "About" page where we could also spell out those things from your and my list of possibilities, which we want to commit to.

(2) create hospitable space

How the genesis, format, and style of the WorldChanging book can
inform a hybrid (web-and-print) publishing model for “CI Convergence”?

Suggested action research expeditions

I suggest that in the current (beta) version of the new CI Convergence cylce, we focus initially only on a few action research projects around some chapters of Mark, Pierre, or George. Of course, if other authors will be inspired to host an action research initiaitve related to their chapter, they would be more than welcome to do so.
